About Us. Born in Sicily, Giuseppe (“Joseph”) Catanese immigrated to Cleveland's Little Italy as a young child. Joe became a skillful baker by apprenticing at Corbo's, one of Little Italy's finest bakeries. In 1972, Joe opened Giuseppe's Pizza in a tiny storefront in Willowick, Ohio.
